We at the Saint John SPCA strongly believe that all shelter animals deserve the best possible new forever homes and we go to great lengths to insure that happens.

It is unimaginable what some animals have gone through to get to us. Some we’ve picked up as frightened strays wearing no collars, tags or other ID; some we’ve rescued from a chained existence with no water, food or shelter to protect them from the elements. Regardless of their situation, we take in all of these animals, believing they deserve a second chance and a better life the second time around.

• Your adult dog may already have lived in a household and be housebroken. If not, it will be old enough to learn.
